Dr. Barbara Brown, DO

Dr. Barbara Brown, DO

Dr. Barbara Brown, DO, first starting working at OCMH as an RN after obtaining her degree in May 1977 from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. She obtained her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in May 1989 from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO. After residency she began her private practice at Sharpe Clinic in Osborne, KS. She joined OCMH as an employed physician in August 2019 and practices at the Goad Medical Clinic. She has been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Brown and her husband live outside of Osborne where they are active in farming.

Katie Crossland, ARPN

Katie Crossland, ARPN

Katie Crossland was raised on farm near Park, KS, and grew up feeling called to a career in healthcare. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with her bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2010 and gained experience as a nurse in ICU, ER, and flight before deciding to return to school to pursue her nurse practitioner degree. Katie returned to FHSU and graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2022.

Katie has three children: Rylee, Kip, and Kynzie, along with their golden retriever Izzy. When not busy with her children, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, reading, or being at the lake.

Ashly Doering, FNP

Ashly Doering, FNP

Ashly was born and raised in rural Kansas. In high school she started as a CNA/CMA, worked her way to EMS on the ambulance and finally moving to nursing work. Ashly completed her BSN at Bethel College & received her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis MO. She also holds a board certification in Emergency Medicine, which means she is dual certified as a FNP/ENP. Emergency medicine has always held her heart and soul, and she takes great pride in staying up to date with the newest & best Evidence Based Practice, while being mindful of the resources available.

Her family consists of two daughters Kynsly & Kenna. Her husband, Jeff, works for the MKC grain elevators as a grain manager. Ashly loves camping & boating at Glen Elder with her family and adult trips to Las Vegas to"people watch" and eat food all day long. She is excited to be in the area and meet people but, truly hopes she never has to meet you in the emergency room.

Katie May, FNP

Katie May, FNP

Katie May joined the team at OCMH in August 2024 as a provider at Goad Medical Clinic.

She earned bachelor's degrees from Kansas State University and Wichita State University and completed an MSN degree from Chamberlain University. May has more than 13 years of nursing experience and has been a leader praised by providers and co-workers for her clinical skills and care for patients and families.

She and her husband, Kelvin, are the fourth generation of his family to farm and ranch near Tipton.

Dr. Theresia Neill, MD

Dr. Theresia Neill, MD

Dr. Theresia Neill grew up on a dairy farm near Severy, KS. She graduated from Butler Community College then received a dual bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University . Her medical degree was obtained at the University of Kansas. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine in Salina, KS, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

In her spare time, she enjoys doing many house and yard projects, cooking and baking, and traveling with her family. She and her husband ,Tate, are blessed with two children, a daughter, Perri, and a son, Finn. Dr. Neill loves rural family medicine and everything that full spectrum family care has to offer.
